There are many videos and documentaries produced questioning the possibility of Americans landing on Moon. Their arguments are many from Flags fluttering, impossible photos suggesting manipulation, long shadows and astronauts conflicting statements etc.

Below is an excerpt from the purport of Srila Prabhupada to Srimad Bhagavatam 8.10.38.
"As stated elsewhere in ÅšrÄ«mad-BhÄgavatam, the sun, not the moon, is the planet nearest the earth. We have already discussed this point in many places. The sun is first, then the moon, then Mars, Jupiter and so on. The sun is supposed to be 93,000,000 miles above the surface of the earth, and from the ÅšrÄ«mad-BhÄgavatam we understand that the moon is 1,600,000 miles above the sun. Therefore the distance between the earth and the moon would be about 95,000,000 miles. So if a space capsule were traveling at the speed of 18,000 miles per hour, how could it reach the moon in four days? At that speed, going to the moon would take at least seven months. That a space capsule on a moon excursion has reached the moon in four days is therefore impossible."
My comments:
Moon is a heavenly planet and it requires good karma to go there, not by any mechanical process. In his book "Easy journey to other planets", Srila Prabhupada mentions that going to moon and other planets from earth has been happening all the time, but the mode of transport is different. If a human being has acquired good karma, he/she will be sent to the higher planets like moon etc.after his/her death by higher authorities, the demigods in charge.
the attempt to focibly barge into moon is Ravana mentality. Ravana tried to build a golden stair case to go to heavenly planets from earth without qualification.
In this context, it is apporpriate to consider the case of Trishankhu. Sage Vishwamitra sent him to heaven by force without sufficient good karmas. When he reached the svarga loka, the devatas kicked him down and still he is hanging in between the earth and heaven in a seperate heavenly planet called Trishankhu svarga created by the sage for him. the same will happen to the astronauts if they try to barge into moon without the requisite qualification.
